First shop item sold!

Since I have a DaWanda store, my craftitems dont just lay around getting dusty. The first item I sold was a reading sign that I've done with alcohol inks, archival ink, distress inks, copic marker and many love for details. Isnt it cute? I absolutely love reading and reading signs are one of the things I absolutely enjoy to create!

Go and take a look here:

I ship to other countries too, just ask!

Getting prepared for Gregs parents.

Since Gregs family comes today and will stay over new years eve, I will definitely have no time to craft in the next days. What a pity. But well, theres so much to do and say and I really hope that everything will be good. So well, lets finish the 2012 with 2 cards. I used my all-time-favorite snowman of Tim Holtz, I need to admit that I would like to use it for nearly every card if I could. It's so adorable!

See you next year!

Have a crafty 2013!

Spring time in december.

Here are some cards for the spring time. Backgrounds Made with alcohol inks.
To be honest, I dont like to spend so much money for the Ranger inks, so I came up with the idea to use printer ink. One of the Shops here had a clearance and sold the four colors for 10 cents. Jackpot baby. XDXDXD
I bought small spraybottles, filled it with the different colors and mixed them to get some Variation. If the color Is too intensive add some isopropylalcohol that you can buy in the pharmacy. Its really easy and cheap to do. The colors just match perfectly. if you use some water to spray on, it will be a nice aquarell effect. I absolutely love!

Have fun!

Gift Set

Heya!
Today i've done a gift set that includes pralines and a coupon. My scorpal is so unbelievable helpful to create giftboxes! When it took me around 4 hours to measure and calculate before, prototyping a Box then, its done now in just a few minutes. So much easier!
In the giftbox are champaign pralines. I wanted to bring the coupon and the chocolate together, so I decided that a display will do the rest. So as you can See, the display contains a coupon-envelope. Im really satisfied with the result and hope that the person will appreciate this gift.

Merry X-mas everyone!

Kitty Cat

I Love cats.
All kinds. cats are wonderful animals and our Cat Levy can be such an adorable little Monster :) I created 2 cards with a cat theme. I wanted to keep them quite ordered and clean, since I want to try some new styles. I just cut a cat shape, which I think is perfect for many craft ideas. Hope you like it!

Back again

Woow, over a year Since my Last post...
So much happened. I graduated. Greg got a great Job. Was ill many times, many personal things changed and happened. And best of all: Greg proposed to me. :-)

I really improved my skills in cardmaking and creating giftboxes. I still enjoy crafting and have the time right now to enjoy what i love. And even Greg crafts with me sometimes! He's doing mosaique. And gets better in it every day. I will post some pictures of it soon.

Well, hope to finally get back to What i started, a huge hello with two of my new cards.

The first card is a christmas card that I always wanted to do. Light blue and white with glitter. And it just looks perfect. I love the combination!

The second card is a huge monster card :D  Its a big card with a sewing theme. I love the stamps and vintage  effect that it adds to projects. The tags are from a german online craftstore, the buttons are from my sister and granny. They both came with two huge bags full of buttons, I will have enough buttons until the rest of my life :D

Clear Stamp Storage System

Make it crafty asked on Facebook how we store our stamps, so I uploaded a picture there of my storage. I haven't thought that no one yet had the idea to do it, because it is sooo simple! As many people like this idea of storing the stamps, I want to share it with you too. You need a solid folder, some protection sheets and your acrylic stamps. Furthermore a scissor and scotch. Simple huh?

Start with cutting the protection sheets on the right side. Not the bottom, just the right side. Now take your acryl stamp previev and fix it with scotch inside of the protection sheet. (I placed the preview sheet on the upper part of the sheet). And now- Place your acrylic stamps inside too! Easy! Just need to put it in your folder now!

To have a better view I put a blanco white sheet between each stampsheet. All I can say is taht this system works perfectly for me. I came up with this idea when I saw a video about Tim Holtz storage folders, I was like: I can do this without spending money! :D So yepp, hope you like it, cause its easy it doesn't take away that much place.

Well then, happy crafting, and don't forget to check if you won the candy!
